Buffalo Watch & Clock was established in 1987 by our Master Watchmaker / Clockmaker Robert Hoffman. Bob started in the watch trade in 1974 when he worked in the material department at Buffalo Jewelry Supply Co.

In 1975 he opened his first trade clock and watch repair shop in the Ellicott Square Building in downtown Buffalo, NY. After several moves in the downtown area over 31 years, the business was moved to its current location in Bob’s hometown of Hamburg, NY and opened to the public. In 2006 Bob’s son Matt joined the business and has become quite proficient at watch repair.

We are proud to participate in continuing education programs sponsored by many of the top watch manufacturers and are members of the American Watch & Clock Institute and the National Association of Watch & Clock Makers.

We have been a service center for Howard Miller and Ridgeway Clocks for over 30 years and also carry their product lines as well as clocks from other manufacturers from cuckoo clocks to tall case floor clocks. All cleanings are completely disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned and assembled using proper lubricants and sealers, using factory approved tools and techniques. All cases are ultrasonically cleaned and steamed, and machine buffed when applicable. We have parts accounts with most manufactures and use only genuine parts on high-grade watches. We also have a large selection of vintage material and movements for obsolete watches.
